Administrative/Bookkeeping Assistant

We are currently looking for an experienced Office Admin for a full time, direct hire position in the Annapolis, MD area.  Position is available to start immediately.

Primary responsibilities:
  1. Answers and directs telephone calls.
  2. Processes mail.
  3. Performs clerical tasks such as typing, filing, copying and faxing.
  4. Orders supplies for the office.
  5. Maintains and updates various databases.
  6. Provides administrative support to Contract, Project and Office managers.
  7. Processes transmittals, submittals, purchase orders, change orders.
  8. Accounts Payable and account reconciliations.
  9. Verifies and processes invoices, maintains vendor files. 
  10. Orders plans and tracks status.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities required:
  1. Knowledge of standard accounts payable policies and procedures.
  2. Ability to understand and interpret vendor invoices, statements, and other request for payments.
  3. Ability to process computer data and format and generate reports.
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Knowledge of general accounting principles.
  6. Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.      
  7. Timberline Accounting Software
